CAT ANSWER 2

Question 2:  Which of these cats are feral or wild?
Answer :  NONE OF THEM!

These are simply terrified house cats that have been surrendered to the shelter, and are completely out of their comfort zones. Or a stray or someone’s indoor/outdoor cat who wandered into a live trap and has been mistaken for feral due to that fact, along with their reactions to being caught.

In the cat orientation and handling class, we will teach you how to best read a cat’s body language.  This will help you to work with cats, and will also show you what staff take consideration when evaluating cats for temperament and adoptability.
