Animal Control

Animal control is a very challenging part of the work of the Humane Society of Parkersburg as our Humane Officers work to protect and rescue animals from abuse and neglect.  They perform this work on behalf of Wood County and follow the laws of West Virginia State Code and local ordinances.  Our Officers are dedicated to helping animals and are advocates for those that cannot speak for themselves.
